Default Unknown illnesses when I was younger

I was just reflecting on a couple of unknown illnesses that I had before I was emet. They were sudden and very short lived. To this day I'm not sure what caused either of them.

The first one, I recall waking up at night feeling extremely cold. I had a high fever and knew it. The next morning I was still feeling sick and ended up v*. Then I got out of bed and that was the end of it. I felt fine for the rest of the day and it didn't come back. No fever or anything.

The second one was similar except there was no fever. I was sitting at the computer playing a game (starcraft), and suddenly I noticed I felt really nauseous. At first I tried to tough it out, but after a while I couldn't take it and went to lie down on the couch. The time between the couch and the bout of sickness is a blur, but all I remember is calling my dad to bring me a bin and I v*. And just like last time, I was fine and went on with my day.

I can't think of anything that would cause either of these illnesses. They seemed so random and uncharacteristic for a virus or fp. I wasn't on drugs or anything either. Is it possible that these unsolved incidences contributed to my emetophobia later on? As in, a part of me fears a similar random onset of illness that's seemingly impossible to predict or prevent (since I don't know what caused it)?

If anyone else has any similar stories, please feel free to share. Maybe we'll find something in common.

Perhaps it was something you ate? If it was only slightly off it might of made you vomit the once, then when it was out your system was all fine and dandy? I myself have never experienced this, but all my life I have had random bouts of feeling unwell, and always at night, would wake up, feel god awful, sip water for an hour and then it would just vanish!

I always wondered if the second sickness was due to bad salami in my lunch-sandwich. Maybe I left my backpack in in the sun that day or something. That's probably the most likely scenario, though you'd think I would be sick for longer than that.

Hmm I don;'t know, if it was just on the turn, wouldn't of given you major food poisoning, if you're worried perhaps you should mention it to your doctor, might answer some mysteries for you
