The best sell date says feb 5 and now its feb 6! Do you think its still ok? I searched online And it said the milk is usually good for a week after the best sell date. Have you ever had sour milk? do you get sick?

I'm sure you'll be completely fine. You would have been able to smell it if it had been off at all - it would have smelt awful.![]()
Yeah - it STINKS if it is bad - and you would not drink it. I don't think sour milk is going to cause any problems anyway.... beyond the initial disgusting smell.
If it tasted fine - it was fine!

I thnk it tastd okay. My mom had some too and said it was fine

I feel kind of silly for saying this, but last year I ate bowl of cereal with bad milk. And by bad, I mean really bad -- as I was eating it I thought it tasted a little weird, but I thought I had just added too much sugar or somethng. My mom smelled the carton later that morning and it just about knocked her on her back. I think even good milk smells bad, so I couldn't tell, haha. I was really scared and felt a little ill for a couple hours afterwards but I was fine! I'm sure you'll be ok.
Oh wow good thing you were ok! Lol milk smells funky in general. I actually am pretty amazing (if i do say so myself) at finding out if things went bad. I have good taste sensew i guess. My spidy senses didnt tingle so thats good![]()
Not near as bad as what I just did, I just ate a piece of cake that had eggs that expired January 14th in it. Of course my mom didn't notice until after I already ate it.
Hopefully it won't hurt me consider it was a small piece of cake and she only used the whites of the eggs. I'll find out later tonight.
'Best Before…' dates aren't the law, nor are they set in stone. I used to think that way, but I learned not to. I'm still wary of dates, don't get me wrong, but I don't obsess over them. Also, I've made it a habit of taking a quick sniff of milk before I drink it. Whether it's from a newly opened gallon, or the little bit left at the end of the week, I always sniff it.

ThAts what my mom says. But i just like to check and its been more than six hours and im fine![]()
Aside from what everyone else has said - if it's fat free milk, you get more leeway with it since it's obviously watered down. Which explains the longer expiration dates.
Just for future reference yogurt is gone off milk so drinking gone off milk probably won't hurt you anyways, unless it's become gone off yogurt, by that time it's bound to have some mold on it with pencillin in to cancel that out and all! Haha![]()
I'm guilty of being innocent

No dont worry milk 1 day out of date is fine! Its just horrible when it starts to smell funny and you wouldnt drink that anyway, No worries
I used to do that all the time when I was little and didn't know better. The only time I did get sick was from milk at school and that was chunky and everything.
I know this is late, but just know you will always know if milk is bad! It tasted awful and usually the smell is bad enough you know not to tase it =] But I am a freak with dairy products, so I know how you feel.
I had a test done where I had to drink milk and it's sell by date was the day before. It took all my strength not to ask for another bottle even though I knew it was fine! lol But I hate milk anyway.

Very gross story. once my roomate left a milk carton on the counter, 2 weeks over the due date. i didnt notce it before bcuz it was behind a big canister. So i opened it and it was one HUGE chunk.. the most disgusting thing ive ever smelt in my entire life. It was BRUTAL. And btw, milk- very easy to tell when its bad, i dont even drink it myself besides in cereal but i can always tell when its "off"..

You should be fine... 1 day isn't bad
