    Default Hate being ill

Just after Christmas I got a horrible fluey cold and just as the cold went, i developed shingles which was incredibly painful! I had about a week's break and now i've had a headache for two weeks. Went to the doctor today and he thinks i have a sinus infection! I'm just always ill it seems at the moment, Anyone else get this?
Also I hate taking antibiotics... So scared. x

This happened to me a few years ago when I wasn't eating properly ... caused my immune system to plummet and I got back-to-back illnesses. Are you eating enough? I hope you feel better soon I've heard Shingles are God-awful.

Yeah i've just come through a bad patch of loosing loads of weight and barely eating. I'm a lot better now but weirdly all the illnesses seem to be coming now :S
Shingles was HORRIBLE. It was so painful... I've never had any pain like it. It's like shooting pains up your nerves, And i've still got pain and scars now and it's been gone for a month!

And now i'm antibiotics with a sinus infection maybe. It's just one illness after the next and all i wanna do is get on with my life.

A week before Christmas I got a terrible cold. A week later it was very wet with a chunky cough and I was still with a stuffed up nose. By the first week of January, two and a half weeks of being sick, I began to feel better. Then last weekend I developed a swollen gland and it hurt when I swallowed like I had a lump. It was like near my ear and into my throat. On Monday of last week, I had a fever and could barely get out of bed. I called my doctor, which I NEVER do and made an appoinment. Apparently I had a sinus infection which stemmed from the cold at Christmas.

My son has had back-to-back illness this year. He had a cold in September. Two weeks later, he had full blown Swine Flu. He caught my cold at Christmas and ended up with a sinus infection with a ten day run of antibiotics. Last Monday he came down witha cold and is still with a chunky cough.

I hate antibiotics too!!! I feel like yucky when I am on them and then I come down with something else because they kill the good bacteria whilst killing the bad.

    Stella
