Help please!

This is my first post! I am so worried, I have been an emetophobe for over twenty years and now my ten year old Daughter has it too.
I realise that she probably has it because shes picked up on my anxiety but her phobia is far worse than mine ever was!
She gets panic attacks daily, over analysis every feeling in her body , shes getting alot of obsessive habits, refuses meals and has lost alot of weight. She is nearly 5 feet tall and weighs only 28 kilos! Im so scared shes starving herself!
My GP has referred her to a nutritionist but I know this is not a food issue. I need to know how I can help her, she is losing control and Im losing her.

sorry that you and your daughter are going through this....you should find lots of support and encouragement in here. it sounds like you need to get your daughter in to see a good therapist......my emet started as a child....but never had problems eating...
i agree, i don't think a nutrionist is the answer......keep reading and keep posting
