    Default Aspects of emetophobia

If one was to compile an informational book or website about emetophobia, what are all the different topics and aspects of emetophobia that should be covered?

    For example:
Symptoms, behaviors, Embarassment, different treatment types.

Details too! Like specific behaviors or treatment types. Basically, when you were first learning more about your fear, what were all the different things that you would have liked information on?

I would definately have liked more info on different forms of treatment. I still feel as though I don't really understand HOW a phobia is cured. I mean, you suffer for 10, 20 years and develop all of these abnormal behaviours...how is anyone going to cure you of that? Ah, sorry to be so negative. I suppose I'd like to understand exactly how I got this phobia in the first place; no traumatic childhood experiences here.

As far as no traumatic experiences go, I have heard an alternate theory for how people can develop the phobia. When most children throw up fair frequently when young, they get used to it being a normal part of life. If you didn't throw up when young, you may not have learned that, and then eventually became afraid of it happening

That actually makes sense. Because the act of v* is completely foreign to me, I've never accepted the fact that it's normal and OK. Instead I just end up paralyzed with fear everytime I feel nauseous because I don't know how my body will react.
