Default New here and my situation

I am an emetophobic! i have had this phobia wow since i was 5 i believe. i am more afraid of others vomiting than myself. The slightest things set my anxiety off- when people cough, someone saying they dont feel good. My anxiety hits a high and i start freaking out. On time my boyfriend threw up in a Walmart bag. I left the room the moment he said he was gonna be sick. I come back and the bag is across the room. I asked him to get rid of the bag. He wouldn't. I completely FLIPPED out on him. Totally went off on him over the bag and i cried hysterically for a good bit. It was insane and i felt like a complete idiot. I mean its to the point that I question having children because children throw up. I cant even get up the courage to comfort my boyfriend he when he is sick. i cry and have panic attacks when i hear someone vomiting, its something I would like to get over and need a lot of help. I have no idea what caused this phobia and well it just continues to become more severe. If anyone can help me that would be great. Or even ways to cope with or to overcome this problem.

    Thank you

I just don't get others rationale who AREN'T emetophobic. I mean to me it is just weird that he wouldn't get rid of it. Who wants vomit laying around anyway? Wouldn't anyone want it out? it doesn't smell real great... See sometimes people seem totally not bothered. I think everyone is bothered by v* to a degree, its unpleasant for everyone.. Were just much more affected by it.
