    Default Headache for a month!

Right i've had a headache for over a month. It gets better but never completley goes, but sometimes (last night) it gets so bad I feel sick and can't eat. I've been to the doctor, he thought it might be a sinus infection so gave me antibiotics. It didn't go so I went back again to a different doc and she gave me more antibiotics which i didn't take cus i don't think it's a sinus infection and the antiobiotics were really horrible and make some people depressed ect. So today I woke up after my horrible headache last night and i've felt off all day. I'm scared i have a bug or something.. my mum has had a headache too but she ALWAYS gets them. She had one for a year once! Do you think it's anything serious? I don't really wanna go to my doc again cus he just thinks i'm a total hypochondriac! Which i am..
I just want to be pain free :/ anyone had any similar experiences?

Well I know it's not compared to a month or year but I've had one every night for the past three days but I'm just chalking it up to be PMS. Maybe you should get an MRI or a catscan or something like that to just double check that it's not anything serious. My mom gets really bad headaches from some of her medications that shes on and also suffers from migranes so it's definatley herditary! Hope it feels better.

**And something that always provides me immediate relief from a nasty headache is a cool cloth or oce pack behind my neck. Feels so nice!
"there's a light at the end of this tunnel" you shout, 'cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out. these mistakes you make, you'll just make them again if you only try turning around.. and breathe. just breathe <3

i'm a firm believer (and lover) in acupuncture....its wonderful and very relaxing........sinus headaches are horrible.....i usually have one all summer because of allergies......but if it is an infection you will have to take the antibiotics or go to a health food store and talk to someone there for a "natural" remedy....

    good luck and feel better

This may sound goofy, but do you drink a lot of caffine? I had the same problem, and my headache didn't go away until I lessened my Mt. Dew intake :P
