Default scared of getting tests done

    Hi,

I have been having chest pains im hoping its all just stress as i have had heaps going on and my stress is huge but even when i have been really bad with stress and panic ive never had chest pains.

ANyway i have to go have blood tests done tomorrow and next week i have to have an exercise stress test done and im freaking
Im fine with the blood test i will be stressed waiting for results but im scared big time about the stress test i have heard of people *V* after doing it and im not fit so makes me think it will happen to me as i wont cope with the test.

I only got the app today and already my pains have been constant and i have a week to go and the funny thing is i was told today "try not to stress" how on earth am i going to get this done.
Also im already thinking what if it means i have to go on tablets i dont even take panadol unless im dying i have a huge fear of taking meds in case they make me feel sick

    Please help

    Kerry

maybe once the test gets started your mind will be distracted and you will be able to calm yourself a little.....distraction is my best medicine for anxiety.......good luck

If the exercise feels like it's getting too much, stop. Yeah they want you to have the test done but they won't force you to carry on if you start feeling bad. You'd have to exercise extremely strenuously in order to v* and you'd start feeling the exercise taking its toll well before you get to that point. I'm sure you'll be fine and you'll get through the test no problem so just keep in your head "I can stop at any point if I want/need to".

    Hope the tests go well.
