I'm just wondering if anyone has anything in particular that comforts them, when they're really anxious about throwing up, or just in general. I have two or three things, I guess.
Photography is one. When I was five years old, I got a camera for Christmas. I had been wanting one for ages. It was a purple plastic one, and couldn't have costed more that about ten dollars. Anyways, during the twoish month period I felt continuously sick, in the middle of the night when I felt especially bad, I tookTONS of photos. Imagine a little five year old being that obbsessed...I even started taking photos without film because it was expensive to go through film that fast. The other thing was the movie- The Sound of Music. Whenever I got sick, my Mom popped that into the little TV, when I had gotten over the worse of the bug. So once I started watching that, I didn't get sick anymore and it took my mind off getting sick. When it was finished, I usually felt a lot better. So yeah, even though I didn't really get better because of it, it makes me feel a lot better usually.
I also still have my baby-blanket that I sleep with every night. It's more of a thing that just has to be there, or else I'll get nervous, but it doesn't do me much good when I am scared.
So yes, what are your things like that, if you have any?
