Normal?

I'm new to this site and can't believe that I am not the only one although has anyone else have problems w/not wanting to eat out of fear of getting sick? I'm eating the basic minimum the last 2 days (water, coffee, salad so far today), b/c I read the s.v. is going around this area and I read on FB one of my friends who lives 2 hours away was sick w/the sv. I didnt leave the house today b/c I was scared of getting germs!! I know my thinking is irrational but I am having such anxiety because of this issue and is way too embarrased to tell anyone (other than people on this site). Also, I'm even just having anxiety reading everyones posts on here..lol..crazy I know!!

sorry you're having a scarey time right now.....i'm glad that spring is finally here and the sv seems to be on the decline.

i pretty much eat the same through it all.......so i don;t have that issue.....although losing a couple pounds would be fine with me.

as long as you keep good hygiene you should be fine......from what i understand the sv isn't really that easy to catch......

find a distraction.....movie, music , book, internet and they will help push the scarey thoughts away.

Yeah, sv season is rough, but it should be over soon. I hope. Anywho you're as normal as the rest of us. I don't eat much either

crazy I know!!

not in the slightest! i know when i here the s*v* is going around, i freak out. i will ONLY eat things i prepare myself, wash my hands like im going into surgery, and even avoid human contact as much as possible. trust me, your behavior is 'normal' for people here
