    Hi

i just thought i'd introduce myself as i'm new. i'm 19 and live in the UK. i've had this phobia probably most of my life. i thought i was the only one so it's kinda nice to know i'm not.

i suffer from migraines which doesn't help my phobia either.

    Hi Claire,

Welcome to the site, isn't it a relief to know that there are others who understand you? I remember when I first came to the site, I read a list of what people who were emet did, and going down the list, I saw myself. It was a great day.

I'm sorry you get migraines. Two in my family suffer as well but with the medications they make now you can really cut down on the v*ing associated with them.

    Again, welcome!

    Hi!

Welcome to our haunt! I bet you are feeling the relief that we all felt in discovering this site. We can thank John for that! As Emma said, we are all very supportive and helpful if you are in any way worried or paniky. We talk about everything in here - not just emet so feel free to post absolutely anything you like.

    Again, welcome to the family!

hiya im new here too, im 18 and from the uk.

I dont really have any freinds because my phobia affects me so much so finding this site as made me feel so overwhelmed and happy that im not alone. i have felt alone for along time.

i suffer from migranes too. my doctor has prescribed me this medicine called zomig rapidmelt. it is a tiny little tablet that you dissolve under your tongue and they dont even taste that bad... it works really well and has an ingredient in it to help prevent vomiting. When i get a migrane i cannot eat because its like my stomach has switched off or something and i find taking tablets on an empty stomach makes me feel really queasy and kinda hurts too. because these tablets disolve you dont have to struggle to swallow them when your feeling nauseous. ask your doctor about them.

Welcome! I'm fairly new as well, but since I have found this
site, I haven't missed a day. It's great how a bunch of strangers
from all over the world can be so helpful and understanding. I
felt so happy the day I discovered this site, that I cried. It is
so difficult to live day to day with this phobia, but you will find
    everyone here very helpful.
