I feel for you guys. you are so brave And I dont think ID be able to handle it without havign a mental breakdown. Its scares me that you guys are sick, but it really helps to hear its not so bad. keep the good comments commin! if anything, you can help those emets who are terrified at the moment..

Oh, they exsist..and they suck. But if you do happen to get one,
you will be ok. The worst part about it is wondering when you
will be sick, and then when it will happen again. But to make you
feel better, you may only get sick once, or not at all. Some
stomache bugs are just diareha. The reason you may never have had
one is because us emets are so careful to avoid those situatons and
keep our hands washed. I've had 4 in my life, and I'm 27. I had
them at age 10, 13, 22, and 26. As you can see, there was a 9
year period between one of them. So I try to think positive, that
it may be years before I do again...knock on wood. You are
lucky..keep up with whatever you are doing..it seems to be
    working. Carrie

i only had them in primary school but since then i haven't had a stomach bug.

my friend, who i went to college with, and her whole family had it a couple of winter's ago and i didn't get it.

my mum says i have good immunity cos i've only been to the doctors about five times in my life and once was about my self harm. i do still fear that i will get a stomach bug though.

I'm like tearfulangel and haven't been sick for a LONG time and I think that's part of my fear.
