Has anybody had bad experiences at work? I always wonder which job you'd be 'safe' in. I've worked in quite a posh supermarket for 18 months now and always thought that it would be safe, but I work on a sunday, when a lot of people come in with hangovers, but I don't really drink so don't know a lot about hangovers. Anyway, I had a bad experience a couple of months ago with a girl that always comes in drunk/hungover. I was coming down from my break and all of a sudden she passed out right in front of me, but before she did she was covering her mouth. The manager took her down to the end of the shops where there were seats and she later told me that'd she'd been ill down there, right in the store, in front of everyone! Even though I was serving at that point, I went all sweaty, could hardly breathe and just heard so much ringing in my ears, I found it difficult to do my job. Luckily this girl has since left so I don't have to see her, but this minor experience really bugs me. Sorry for going on, but has anyone else experienced similiar?
