Instant Messenger - any good?

Hiya,just wondered if any of you have used these instant messenger services such as that offered by Yahoo? What are they like? Although I use the net a lot I am a bit of a virgin when it comes to things like this [img]smileys/smilies_02.gif[/img].


None of my mates have a computer so it probably wont be of much use to me, but just fancied trying it out.

ive got msn, the hotmail one and its great, couldnt live without it (ok i admit it i have no life). I live 300 miles away from my family and friends and its a great way to keep in contact. Plus i have made some online friends from various message boards which is great if u ever need to chat to someone. Im just download AIM at the minute to see what thats like

I have AOL instant messenger, also known as AIM... it easy to use... and I always use it lol. That's my main one, but I also have MSN messenger and Yahoo messenger. I don't know how I ended up with so many!

i have AIM and MSN messenger.... whats quite sad is i dont think i cud live without it now!! lol.

and a good thing if u hav troubles getting out.. stops u getting so lonely at nights!
