    Unhappy Blahhh...

Hello everyone. I am really in a slump right now and things are so up and down constantly. One minute I'm happy, next minute I'm crying my eyes out. I was just curious to if anyone finds trouble keeping themselves busy. I find that with this phobia, it makes it harder for me to accept boredom because I have a schedule and can't mess anthing up. It's especially worse in the summer, too. What do you guys do to take up the time in between eating? Does anyone have trouble like me with this certain subject? It would be great to hear from anyone. I really need to talk, I guess. Any suggestions on time consuming activities would help, also. Thanks

along with this crippling phobia and panic attacks...I also suffer with quite severe depression...I have little energy to do anything and i cant even be bothered to do my housework....i cry all the time and its worse in the evenings.I play solitare or do a jigsaw or something like that...I do have 3 very young children too,so with little energy it can get pretty tough, especially with my husband working such long hours, thankfully my mum comes to be with me every day to help,as she is my carer due to how bad my Emetophobia and panic attacks are.Hope you get better...have u considered some light councilling or c.b.t?? I'm also using the i-phone app by joseph clough..especially for Emetophobia,it helps!! im here if u need to talk...about anything at all, take care, and chin up.JadeXX

Get a hobby. My panicky, or bored moments are helped by mine. It has to be an engaging one, or your mind will never become fully engrossed with it.

I guess I should have stated my hobby. I'm in to offroad, Jeeps that is. I'm always on the quest to make it perform better, so my mind finds this hobby to be a pleasent distraction.

My sister suffers with more generalized panic/anxiety, she used to take close to 20 credit hours a semester and held down a job. Here cure for anxiety is to be toooo busy to notice it. When she's got downtime, she's nervous wreck...so she never allows herself downtime. She's hella productive and rips through projects and her schoolwork like no other. She's makes herself too busy to panic.
