    Unhappy OH NO!!!! Co-worker's Ill

    So I went to work today.......and found out that 2 women I worked with was now at home ill. I am pretty freaked out......I dont even want to eat supper I feel like I should just go to bed and wait for the enevitable Rational thoughts have left me......I hate this part of me!

    Are you sure it was a stomach bug? Maybe you washed your hands enough not to catch it..last year a few people had the noro, and i didnt get it!! i was soooo happy!! I know how you feel though, if i ind out someone had it near me, i convince myself im sick, until i feel so sick one night i have to take a zofran or phenagen...sucks!!

    Yeah hopefully I used enough hand sanitizer and washed my hands enough....I pray I did! This makes me not want to work....I just want to stay home! 80(

    OK....check this out....I feel slightly better....it has been 48 plus hours since I was possiably exposed to a sv....and im good so far...eating tums and peppermints....the mints seem to help with my nerves as well as my stomach....well wait...let me do the math...IF I was exposed at the begining of my shift with her...4pm....I am at 52 hours.....and then it counts down from there to 11pm tonight being 48 hours.....but I think it was earlier in the shift that I may been exposed......OH GOD......I have GOT to quit this......GRRRRR!!! Im fine.....if im not theres not a dang thing I can do about it.....dangit 80(

    I think you are fine. And you need to eat something more than mints and tums! My favorite go-to tummy soother? Peanut Butter and crackers. Carbs and some protein

    I survived.......but stayed up most of the night waiting for it....and it never happend (thank god) :-(

    I'm sure you will be fine! Dont wrorry too much as it will probably trick your body into thinking you actually are ill! I get so worked up some times by wrorrying I'm going to get ill, so I then feel ill because I'm wrorrying so much! Relax. Just wash your hands before you eat etc or whenever you want to!
