pretty sure you're just anxious about starting a new job.......even non emets get that way when starting something new.....like a job.

just find something to distract your mind. make sure you have what you need for a day at work.......i make sure i have ginger altoids in my purse and gum and i take tea bags with me for a nice cup if i get the chance.

i'm sure you will be fine.....you will be busy tomorrow learning how things work at your new job. what type of work will you be doing??

    good luck....have fun.....
    how i feel about emet

I just started work 2 weeks ago - my first job in nearly 10 years. I know what you mean, and its almost definitely anxiety. I just made sure I had everything ready the night before so that I didnt have to rush first thing in the morning and took my anti-emetics with me. Good luck you'll be fine

Starting a new job is really scary. What if I mess up? What if my co-workers don't like me? What if I hate it? It sounds like you are dealing with anxiety, especially how it seems to build up as you are getting closer and closer to starting. Anyone who doesn't freak out about their first day doesn't care if they have the job or not.

I agree with keeping ginger or anti-emetics with you, I'd also say to take a nice hot relaxing bath, get out the lavender, eat your favorite comfort food, and take deep breaths. As my fortune cookie said, "It is okay to have butterflies in your stomach, just get them to fly in formation"

Aw! I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, what always helps me whenever I start to not feel well I tell myself it's only anxiety and will pass, it usually helps! Hope you feel better, I know it'll be okay!
