i posted just a little while ago about my daughter possibly having the sv.....im curious...i started reading on wiki about the norovirus...heres the deal....tuesday my daughter went to her aunts for the day...her aunt and cousin that were there that day got sick on wednesday and thursday with the stomach virus.....its sunday.....and their virus started with a runny nose and congestion....now my daughter has a runny stuffy nose and im assuming she is going to start vomitting soon like they did.......am i right to think this or is it possible that she doesnt have it? I really really want to believe that she is going to be fine and not v* but my emetophobia is making me automatically panic and go to the worst possible scenario.....does anyone know if i need to relax or be worried?

I've never heard of an illness that causes cold symptoms and stomach symptoms. It is possible for the influenza virus to cause nausea, but not everybody will react to the illness in this way. I'm guessing the v-ing they had, was a seperate illness to the cold/flu virus. Since your daughter was there before they were showing symptoms of the stomach virus, it's unlikely she will have caught it. Keep good hygiene anyway and you'll be fine.
