    Default What can I do?

I went to see a nurse today to tell her I had been feeling sick all night and I have emetophobia - so is there anything she coould give me.

She was horrible and said because the appointment was for my repeat contraception Dep injection she couldn't...and under no circumstances could she give me anything, and because I wasn't actually being sick i'd have no chance of getting anything from anyone.

Why? Why do they not understand?
I feel so rubbish, I stil feel sick and have only eaten a piece of toast and a ginger biscuit today. I'm hungry but so afraid to be sick.

This is total ignorance. I would suggest you see someone who is more specialized in psychological conditions. I will say on the doctor's behalf that there are a lot of people out there that try to scam drugs so they have to be careful.. No, obviously you're not lying and it's ridiculous but because of the scammers sometimes people who really need help don't get it.

You need to make an appointment with the doctor. The nurse isn't allowed to prescribe anything herself. And if you're appointment is for contraceptives, that's really all the appointment should be for. I mean, imagine you asked a salesman to call about new windows, and he spent the whole time trying to sell you carpets? You'd be pretty annoyed wouldn't you!
