I love Christmas...but I HATE it!

I love Christmas. I really do. But sv season kills the entire spirit of everything for me. And SO many of my facebook friends are talking about the sv going around their house! I haven't been around any of them but still. I figure if that high of a percentage of my fb friends have been s*, then the same percentage, if not more, of the general population have been too! And I've been in public a lot lately shopping! A friend of mine is coming over tonight to pick up a toy that was really hard to find this year. Her daughter wanted it and I actually found it. She just posted on fb that her daughter was s* and I was literally trying to figure out how I would take the money from her without flat out putting on rubber gloves! Lol but I asked her what was wrong and she said it was a fever, earache, sore throat. Phewwwww
I think my biggest fear is that we're going out of town for Christmas this year which we normally don't do. I'm scared I'll catch something and get s* at someone else's house. Not only that but have to drive home then possibly having to pull over etc etc etc. Ughhhhh. Uch a stressful time of year!!

I know how you feel, I too feel this way every year. Just keep up the good handwashing and you'll be okay!

it is such a stressful time of the year on so many levels........

just keep good hygiene and you should be fine no matter what's going on around you......i totally understand your feelings though.....it seems to be everywhere........just remember it's not airborne so all those people out shopping will not infect you........keep your hands away from your face and wash them when you get home.

try and enjoy.......i'm hoping for an early spring this year
