    Default To eat or not to eat...~?

    So, I've noticed that many of those with emetophobia share the common trait of having trouble with food. Because the majority of people who have this phobia also fear the feeling of being full, I noticed that many tend to get into the areas of anorexia. I used to be like that, and had gone way below the correct weight for something of my stature.
    Now-a-days, I'm quite the opposite. I've come to hate the feeling of starvation, rather than being full. I think that's mostly because if I feel nausea while full, and I can't control it, I simply take a gravol. But when feeling hungry, the gravol doesn't exactly seem to work...I begin to feel desperate to get some food into me.
    So how does everyone else here cope with eating?

    I hate being full and I hate being hungry. I graze alot. I snack all day and eat the same 20 foods or so. Oatmeal, clif bars, cereal, pb sandwiches, chips, pasta for dinner...just boring, basic stuff.

    I don't eat out and don't eat at anyones house. I bring my own food with me to work and don't enjoy eating at all. I hate it.

    What is gravol? Is it in the US?

    Oh man, I definately know the pains of eating out or someone else's house. Despite my hate of being starved, I still have trouble eating outside my own house.
    And Gravol is a medication for the stomach; and is probably the best there is, considering there is a type with real ginger in it (the type I always take).
    Now, I'm not sure if it's available in the US. If it is, it would be in any pharmacy, like one at a Walmart, and is usually over the counter medication.

    Just googled. Gravol is Dramamine in the US - for motion sickness? I may buy some to keep in the house.

    Yeah, eating out is a no go. I can go to a reastaurant, but rarely eat or drink anything except water or soda and maybe bread. Awful.

    I believe it's for pretty much nausea in general, but it mostly targets motion sickness. It's a seriously wonderful thing when you can't get a hold of yourself.
    That is awful. D: The only recent time I was able to eat much at another person's house was during New Year's Eve...and mostly because I was starving. =w=;
    I found a rather odd comfort technique for eating out; something that I never noticed I did until a while ago..For some reason, if I'm having trouble swallowing, I have to tug at my ear, or rub the side of my face. But it's always my right side. It's the strangest thing.

    I like being hungry, but I know it's not healthy so I do keep up with a healthy diet for the most part. I never eat till I'm stuffed though!

    Used to be hard for me to go to restaurants before I was on Paxil. Brought my anxiety way down.
