a few days ago a friend on fb said that she was sick and her arse was like a tap. (sorry if tmi), then my brothers girlfriend said she was v* a couple of days later, then a couple days after that my other brothers girlfriend said that she was up all night v*, my step dad had a stomach ache earlier today, i just came back from mums and she has d* and my best friend who i've been hangin with for past few days had a really high fever and so did another friend 2 nights ago. to be honest i havnt been that worried because i thought it was the same bug i had and im all good. but now i have a stomach ache and a bit of n* and im freaking out! im thinking now its another bug. i had a bit to eat the sarvo so im hoping its from that. but im so worried. a stomach ache is how the virus i had before started. oh i hope im not sick. we had a picnic at the beach yesterday and my step dad brought all the food and made our salads and everything so im soo scared im gonna get what hes got. so many people have this and are getting sick im so hoping its the same virus i had before

i have a bad taste in my mouth now. i dont know what that means. i just had heasp bad n* that lsated for about 10 mins but has eased off a little bit and still have tummy ache

Acid reflux? Acid reflux always gives me a horrible taste in my mouth- one time I woke up and my mouth tasted like v*, it scared the crap out of me but it was just acid reflux.

Wash your hands, drink some ginger ale and get some crackers. I really do know how you feel. I think part of it is knowing that so many people around you have been sick - it makes you feel like it is inevitable and you are waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'd say to take some steps to calm your tummy and try deep breathing.

whatever new stomach flu is going around is very short lived but very violent in nature. everyone we know has had it. it even made our local papers here in west michigan.

See I'm not hearing much about it in my community... right now the basic flu (fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose etc..) is going through everybody (all my friends are sick and I'm just recovered,) and I don't know anyone besides my friends dad who's really lazy about washing hands before preparing food etc who's had the stomach flu lately. I'm just selfishly scared for my mom to go back to work because she works in a doctors office (she's not a doctor, medical office assistant so she's basically a secretary and helps out the patients etc..) therefore she's ALWAYS around people who have been sick and all... she said that on her last day before her break that someone v* and she had to clean it up... um, ew..I'm not too concerned anymore about going back to school because since I'm in seventh grade we have our own wing and we don't go into contact with the younger grades and hardly anyone is ever sick with the sv* in my grade so I'm not too afraid... it's the younger kids I usually worry about because sometimes they don't wash their hands properly... I'm scarred for life since one time I walked into the primary bathroom, it smelled horrible, I look into the trash can and guess what's there...

I hope you feel better- I'm sure you'll be fine just keep washing your hands, getting good nights sleep and eating right

thanks people. im still a bit anxious but better. i will just have to be extra careful about hygiene. sometimes i make silly mistakes and unknowingly rub my face or scratch my mouth when its itchy or something. i think it was acid refulx. but veyrone around here is sick with everything! bugs, colds, sore throats, fevers hayfever. you always think that because so many other people got it then you would too.

sorry for scaring anyone with my post above. im just frustrated as both of our kids have this virus today. now im not feeling quite right tonight either.

also emma as much as you may clean, in my case ive always gotten ill anyways. not trying to scare you but ive noticed better cleaning doesn't mean you may not get it.

you know its amazing. a lot of people i know have poor hygiene or arnt to worried about washing their hands, and they hardely ever get sick. we feel sick every bloody day and we're borderline phsycotic OCD! i hope your kids feel better soon. remember they are only children, and are a lot more susceptible to catching these things than you are. so try not to stress and give them the rest of the day to feel a bit better.

oh great! i had some pasta for lunch and an hour later i started to feel very n* and my stomach is aching again. my best friend came on msn, and she said shes been heaps n* and v* yesterday. she seems to think its from the antibiotics shes taking because once she stopped taking them shes felt ok. but that could be the bug going away. she seems positive its from that but im so worried its another sv. why else would i feel n* and have stomach pains again!! i cant stand this anymore i just want to feel well again

Emmalinda - I hope you feel better. It is so hard to deal with emet when people are planting ideas in your head about n* and v*. ugh.

we have everything here in Maryland, DC and Virginia. I am dealing with the standard flu right now (cold, fever, headache, runny nose, etc). I am washing my hands like an insane person and try to make my son do the same.
