I get scared even if someone says I dont look well!

I get so scared when someone says I dont look well! When I was in Year 10 I was walking around with my friends and got into a conversation with a T.A and she said that I didn't look well, she felt my head and said I was really hot. I didn't feel hot, she was surprised that I had my jumper on because I was so "hot" from that point onwards anxiety went into sky high mode! After that I went to the office and went home because I was scared that I would *v once she had said that. Same kinda thing happen to anyone else where they get paranoid/scared if someone said that they dont look well?

Yeah this year I was at school and my teacher is like, "You look really sick and pale, you should lay down in the office." I didn't feel bad other than being tired, and I was so convinced I'd v* I was so scared!

I know it really doesn't help with out Emet does it! I hate it when people say that wrong thing, just makes us feel 10x worse! x

Yeah, when I was young I was always very thin and pale, and lots of people used to comment. And I used to get nervous and ask my mom all the time if I am sick. Now, I get mad when someone says something like that. Part of me thinks "just keep your mouth shut." You know...if you don't have anything nice to say...

Yep i panic big time if someone says i look pale . I remember when my eldest was 5 we had her dancing christmas party and trophey day and it was so hot in the gym another mum was chatting away to me and i felt fine apart from being hot, well she then blerts out are you ok your terribly pale :0 i lost it i tried but i ended up leaving and coming home i had the hugest panic ever.

I hate hate hate it when people say that I look sick cause I get really anxieous and don't eat which makes me feel sick. People kinda suck when they say that even though they mean well.

I know right, totally! I tend to just kinda ignore people, but I am so obsessed with my skin tone and weather I look pale or not, im always looking in the mirror. Its so annoying, im not vain or anything im just worried!

I used to pinch my cheeks when I was young so I would look like I had some color!! Gosh.

Oh God so today I had a migraine & I was in the school office, I didn't feel nauseous or anything but when I got up to go back to class, the school nurse said, "Oh, Kailyn! You look pale and unwell- if you need to come back, come back okay? Take it easy." That made me nauseous for the rest of the day, I was so afraid I'd be sick or something

Oh god Kailyn that doesn't sound good, I would have been pretty upset if the school nurse had said that too me! You feeling alright now? I mean I know people mean well but It really doesn't help us, it just worries us even more than we need!
