Can I Catch The Same Flu Twice
The flu made it's way around my home *shudder* I have already had it and so has everyone else. My oldest son was the last to catch it and just got over it. We have not left the house so it has to be the same flu I had. Is there any way I can get it again? I'm freaking out thinking I have it again but I think it's my mind playing tricks on me.

If you're talking about real flu (influenza) then no, you can't catch it again. You are immune to that strain, and can't catch it again till next year when the virus has mutated enough to be unrecognisable to your body. That's how flu shots work.

Norovirus produces immunity that lasts for 10 weeks, sometimes much longer.

No, you are immune for a while. Otherwise we would all have something all the time! No worries

You're immune to the season's norovirus now. Next "season" it will have mutated and you can catch it again. But you will probably be fine until next winter. Take care and good luck!

It's difficult to believe that the flu and noro mutates EVERY season. That seems like an awful lot.
