Red face O.T. life without emet

I was thinkin the other day, just randomly, of how different my life might be if i didnt have emtophobia. I think that things would be so different for me and i would be more independant and wouldnt even be living where i am now. i would have the guts to move away to a foreign place and live my own life. where do ya think you would all be right now if you didnt have this phobia if its affected your life in such a way?

I'd be working more shifts at work, to save to move overseas, I'd have a lot more friends because I'd go out more, I'd have more fun I'd also be much more independent.

I refuse to let my emet make decisions for me, I chose a job working with children even though my emet screamed that they are nothing but vectors for spreading disease. I went to college, even though my emet was yelling that it is full of drunks vomiting on every surface available. I live mostly on my own (roommate due to financial concerns), even though my emet shouts that living with my parents is safer. Okay, I still live with them in the summer months. I work with tourists in the summer when my emit softly whispers in my ear that they are carrying diseases from all over the country that they are immune to, but I am not. I have had people, kids and adults, vomit during the tours, I've also had a kid wet their pants, another kid crapped himself on my boss's tour. This next summer will make 6 years that I've worked there.

I doubt that I would do things differently, only much more calmly. The biggest change would be that I would take trip to Germany or else take a cruise. Planes and boats both scare me, boats more than planes.
