How long after exposure to v* or d* can you confidently feel (or as confidenly as an emet can ever feel) that you are "in the clear". I thought 48 hours but some websites say 72.

well it usally takes 24 to 48 hr to show symptoms if u were exposed i feel safe after 3 days

It's really 24-48, 12 or 72 are extremes. The average is between 30 or 36 hours after exposure. If after 48 you don't have symptoms, you probably won't. It's ridiculously unlikely it would show up longer than 48 hours after exposure.

i know someone who came down with it 8 days after exposure! how the hell does that happen?

Either they got a massive exposure, were immunocompromised (maybe from already being sick) or they were exposed in a different way earlier.

is there a phobia of diarrhea? If so, does anyone know anything about it?
