New Paint!

I'm just all excited cause I just got the first coat of paint up in the bedroom. It's a light grey and at first I was like 'ACK! TOO LIGHT!' then as it was all blotchy and drying I was like 'ACK! PRISON CELL!' now that the first wall is totally dry I like it And I bought a new coverlet and sheets yesterday (upgrading to Queen size!). The coverlet is reversible dark grey on one side and a rather bright green on the other, and the sheets are offwhite with circles in grey and green and beige and cobalt. We also bought a new flat screen TV for the bedroom yesterday so we could get rid of the old giant one. I can't wait to get our new bedroom furniture this week and put the new bedroom together!! I'll have to post before and after pics when I'm done.

... now I have to go clean my kitchen and prep lunches for the week and THEN I get to start my seedlings!! Sundays are so damn busy.

Sounds exciting! I love painting a room a new color! I want to do over my bedroom this spring break, I'm thinking grey, purple or green. Those are my favorite colors!

It looks great now that it's done! Now we just need the furniture! (and a mattress and curtains!) The paint was low odor but it smells like an old boot in our bedroom now!

I love updating and painting! I love to come home and everything is all clean and fresh. I would love to see the pics when you are all done.

We got our furniture today!! I'm so excited! I can't wait for my husband to get home so we can assemble the bed!! We don't have a mattress yet, we're going to get one on Friday, so we'll have to live with the full sized mattress for a few more nights. I still need to pick out curtains. Not entirely sure what I'm going to do there yet.
