I am long time reader of your community forum (as well as an anxiety patient with emetophobia).
Currently, I am (for the second time in the last 4 years) on Sertaline - Zoloft, now on Asentra, since they didn't have the Zoloft. Also, 4 years ago, as well as last 4 months I am on attending psychotherapy.
The amplitude of my anxiety/neurosis and phobia has been jumping up and down, with, often enough, tendency to go to almost great state.
However, today, since about 2 AM I encountered acute diarrhea and entire day I have been occupied with it. I was at the doctors, he told me I "...probably caught something", so I hope it will past in the next couple of days. But, my main concern is, of course, v*. I had anxiety and panic attacks all day long (some severe than the others) because of irrational thoughts that this d* will worsen and bring v*.
I would very much appreciate if someone could give me some insight and reassurance - I read somewhere that emetophobes have greater tolerance threshold and it's most unusual to have only d*, if we experience some viral infection or similar.
Thank you very much for any insight and help!!
Take care all!!!
