    Post Women only question

I was just wondering if anyone out there gets ill before their menstrual cycle. I had my tubes tied in September last year after they delivered my son. I didn't have a period before that for about 4 years, and I don't remember it being this bad.... ever. The night before I start I have bad bad nightmares and it always seems around 3 or 4 am. I wake up really n* and I'm really hot and my stomach makes all these crazy noises. Then the whole day is messed up. I woke up last night at 3 and called my husband around 3 am so paranoid. I still don't feel well and it's been almost 24 hrs. If anyone has this. What do you do to help it? I'm almost too scared to go to sleep and I'm so tired.

What are the main symptoms? N* and cramps? I think you should talk to your doctor if it is this bad. You will be okay though. I'd recommend just taking it easy until it passes - do you have any painkillers? Ginger or peppermint tea might help the n* xxx

I would think that not having your period for four years is quite abnormal - do you have PCOS or something? People with PCOS also experience very painful periods, or you could just have cysts on your ovaries which are causing you so much pain? You should really check with your doctor since I'm not sure what's 'normal' after having your tubes tied. I usually try a heating pad, though. I prefer not to take medication, mostly because it doesn't work for me, but going for a walk, taking a bath and then laying down with my magic bag always makes me feel better

I'm good today thank goodness. I don't have PCOS I had the Mirena IUD. It is an IUD with a little bit of hormones in it an it stopped my period but I had it removed obviously. I just have trouble the week before I either can't eat or I overeat. I bloat real bad. But the night before it starts I get so sick to my stomach and everything else. I was just wondering if anybody had this same problem. This time I freaked out because it lasted longer than usual.

Before I had my tubes tied, I never really had a problem before my period except for some slight cramping. After is a completely different story. Right before my period, I now suffer from insomnia and bad cramps. I also get d* and feel very n* and bloated. I don't know what the difference is between having or not having tubes tied, but there is a definite difference for me.

According to the last survey I did, only 4 percent of phobic females have vomited due to their period, but about 20 percent of non-phobic females have. Doug

haha, I busted the women-only question

Ha ha Doug! Thanks for your input . I do think there has to be something with getting tubes tied. I think before I really complained most about cramps and back aches. Now it's an emet nightmare. Plus premenopause! I just know it sucks.
