    Talking Little Step, Big Feeling

As some of you may know from my posts each month, I have horrible PMS symptoms and am usually quite sick during my time of the month. This month was no exception but I didn't let it win. I knew it was coming so I braced myself and while I still felt pretty sick to my stomach (and do right at this minute) I'm not freaking out. I even went grocery shopping which I would NEVER do if I wasn't feeling well.

I feel like I'm taking lots of small steps that really add up and they give me a great feeling

Good for you! Remember, a small step is better t han no step at all....you know how your body reacts at this point, so when this happens again next month, try going out again...

Btw, have you considered BC pills? They really do help with the nausea and cramps...the definately helped w the cramps for me...just a suggestion.

I've been on BC consistently for a year now and I think that's what made things worse. Well that and the changes my body made from a pregnancy and having a baby. I'm about to start a new pill though with even lower hormones so hopefully that helps me!

I never had it like this until I had my daughter. Before I got pregnant, I had bad cramping but I'll still take that any day over being sick to my stomach for 7-10 days straight!

That's a rockin' step lady! Keep it up one at a time. My momma taught me "one thing at a time, one day at a time, don't try to take on the future, don't chew more than you can swallow".

Living peacefully is important, and with a phobia like this one even more so.
    Life is so worth living.

Haha! Yes! You see? Courage is the key!

Well done, I'm happy for you. Every success is hope for the rest of us! Keep at it!

For only the blade of courage can fell Fear himself."

Ever since I got on BC pills my PMS symptoms haven't been too bad. Except being extremely emotional the day before. I cry over everything lol.
I have PCOS though, and my periods came when they pleased. I went from having no period one year to having it for three months STRAIGHT, heavy and everything. So I couldn't ever pin it on PMS because I didn't know what PMS felt like.
Then one day I woke up and swore I was going to be sick. That feeling lasted for two weeks, I was so miserable. I felt exactly like you did.
Then the next month I felt JUST as bad, but this time I somewhat forced myself through it.
Then the NEXT month came and it hit again. Then I just got fed up with it and was like "alright body, enough is enough." and did everything like I normally would do. I guess my whole thought process through this thing was a trial and error type. I knew I had never gotten sick before from feeling like this, why would I get sick now?

I'm happy for you though Jordan! We just gotta take this stuff one step at a time.
