Question How is a norovirus spread?

I've never heard of a norovirus before I came to this site and, well, after reading the horror stories about it on here, it sounds like something I'd REALLY like to know how to avoid...

But more than just how to avoid it, I'd also like to know if it incubates for any amount of time and some of the random symptoms of it....I would look this up online myself, but most of what I find online about this kind of stuff is very vague, and I think reading about firsthand experiences with noro would be more insightful! I know the basics about how most viruses spread, but this norovirus sounds a bit more tricky and crafty than the others, lol

To be honest though, I'm mainly posting this question because I'm concerned if the norovirus can be spread through mosquito bites? This past Friday I stepped outside once and wound up with over a dozen mosquito bites, and then from Saturday evening and all through Sunday, I had frequent d* (but with absolutely no other symptoms, not even nausea or stomach cramps)....could I have still caught some form of the norovirus from any one of those bites?

Noro sounds like an emet's worst nightmare, so does anyone have any information they could share with me about this virus's behavior and how it spreads? Thanks so much! =)

Oh, I just breathed a huge sigh of relief thanks to that thread, JadeNight! So the virus cannot be spread through blood mingling in mosquito bites....good to know!

I'll definitely bookmark that thread, the information it offers is gold....thanks very much
