    Exclamation Sick! Help!

i dont know whats wrong with me right now, after i got back from the lake yesterday around 6 pm i noticed that i started to feel all hot and nasty feeling. its 11am right now i i feel the same (my stomach doesnt really feel sick though) but i had to run into the bathroom just incase (which i rarely ever have to do)

so after i calmed down in the bathroom i deiced to sip on some water, which in doing now, maybe even try to eat some toast

do you think in 50% sick and 50% panic?

i dont really want my family to know because my mom will just yell at me and say im making a fool of myself again

    Hi,

Sorry to hear you're feeling like this. A sign that you want to eat some dry toast is a good sign as it means you must have some appetite?!

I'm not sure where you live but you mentioned being at the lake, is there any chance you spent too long in the sun? You could have got dehydrated or maybe a bit of sunstroke. Do you have any other symptoms that might suggest that? Drinking water to re-balance your system will help if this is the case, and sipping cold water for panic I find always seems to help.

You said that you don't actually feel sick in your stomach so you're right in that it could be more overriding panic. And of course, don't forget n* can often be a symptom of panic rather than illness (however, I know that for me any logical thought escapes from my brain when I am in panic mode).

How are you feeling now? Well done on managing to calm yourself as I'm sure everyone can appreciate how hard that can be to have the inner strength to be able to rationally talk/think to yourself and calm the panic.
