Cross country flight tomorrow
Hey everyone,
I used to be great with flying, but now I feel so sick all the time that being on a plane for long periods of time is really hard. My boyfriend lives in Los Angeles, which is a 6 hr plane ride from me (eek!) I'm going to visit him tomorrow morning, and I'm really nervous about it. Last time I flew back from LA I had a middle seat and started feeling really sick and panicky about 2 hrs in, and had to go stand in the back with the flight attendants and started crying. Which was definitely embarrassing! Now my anxiety is much worse, plus to make matters worse we had to buy the cheapest flight possible so I have a 1 1/2 hr flight to Chicago, then a 2 1/2 hr layover, and then a 4 1/2 hr flight to LA. My plan was to just take a lorazepam when I got on the plane and try to relax or sleep through it, but I can't be groggy for my layover. Help! Does anyone have any suggestions of things that might keep me from feeling sick on the plane, or help me deal with the panic tomorrow?
