I hope you are fine and not too anxious or scared today. I have recently been searching through life to find healthy habits to try and counteract my anxiety, such as running, photography, eating well, drinking lots of water etc. I remember about a year ago I used to drink lemon water (essentially water with a bit of lemon juice squeezed into it) but I didn't keep the habit up. I have recently started doing this again and it is just one of those little things that can make you a tiny bit happier. There are SO many health benefits to lemon water, but one of them is to aid digestion. When most of us are anxious, digestion is one of those things our body puts aside to deal with the fear, so lemon water is very beneficial in that it will alkalise your body. Anxiety can also prevent (this is awkard to say...) your stools from being normal so the lemon water also helps with that. Just thought I'd share this.
