Two people at my job have "the flu", granted I cant figure out if it's the regular non-puke flu or if it is. They are not here and they just keep saying they have the flu, my boss just told me her daughter was puking on Monday and she was here working on Monday night. i AM FREAKED!!! Now my boss is not sick and it was three days ago. i'm worried, i am leaving early today cause i'm getting a new car but now im very upset help!!

I wouldn't worry about getting the "flu", first they might have the respirtory kind, and not the sv kind, so try not to worry, just practice good hygenine and you should be all set. And second, if your boss child was sick with v*, 3 days ago, you probably won't get it. If your boss doesn't have it especially. The incubation period is 12-48 hours, and the median is 36 hours, so if its been 3 days, then I'd say your in the clear. Just try and relax, and enjoy your new car.

Its a 2000 model suzuki esteem, granted its not new but whe you drive a 1996 camry, it seems new. I am pretty sure one guy has the regular respiratory flu, but I am bothered mostly by the sv of course.





There is no way I am using the bathroom in here for the next week or so. you know its funny you feel fine until you here somebody has been barfing and then ya start to feel all nauseous. I hate this so much !!

Aw I know what thats like, once you know someone is sick you feel all
sick yourself, purely from anxiety. But keep giving yourself 'self
talk' in that you don't know forsure that its the stomach flu, it has a
huge chance of being the respitory kind or what we call a cold. Strep
is going around here like crazy and spreading like wild fire, so it
could be that, not the stomach bug. Keep up good hygene and you'll be
fine. Take care!! =) And enjoy your new car! How posh, lol!!

Try to distract yourself, watch some TV or read, and I hate to say it,
but sometimes getting off this site can help, because then your not so
focused on v*. Watch a movie, go for a walk. Whatever works for you.

i wish i could just go away and distract myself. Unfortunatly, I am at work and have to be around these people. This other guy who works behind me keep saying how he does not feel well and he came ove rto my desk and was asking me something and spit on me while he was talking. I work in a very small office and I just feel so gross and exposed right now
