Wow, I honestly had no idea how widespread this phobia was. Heck, I didn't even know the big official word for it until a few weeks ago. I don't really know if I have it, but I sure would say I do.I've been deathly afraid of "it" for many years. Just yesterday I got to deal with two people being sick in one day. It was horrible. The waitress I drive home Wednesday nights was sick and threatened to get sick in my car. I was scared out of my mind the whole way there. If she had gotten sick I probably would have jumped out of my running car. Then when I got home my roommate was sick. I was so traumatized I barely got my headphones together and on full blast, couldnt fall asleep 'cause I had to go to the bathroom (only one in the house, and it was most out of the question), so I got to drive to my parents house at 3 this morning. Horrid. I'm so scared and traumatized by the sound. God its awful. I'm staying at my parents' and my boyfriend's until that house is de-germed. But hey, I found this cool website, and I don't feel like a complete freak anymore! I look forward to chatting and reading and making some friends!

    Cheerio,

Welcome to the site. You are not a freak. You just have a phobia that is not considered common by other people. You (we) are no different than someone who is afraid of heights or something.

Wow, its been a long time since I've been on!! And I've only had 2-3 bad experiences since then, all of which were in a movie or on TV. My now favouritest movie, Sin City, has an Ill scene. I'd buy it anyway, and just remember when that scene is. I think my boyfriend thinks i'm freaking weird 'cause of how scared of Illness I am. *shrugs* Oh well. Thanks for the warm welcome again everyone!
