    Well
I am doing it: I'm starting to pull myself back out of this Emet hole
like I did a few months ago. Thursday night I went to a sleepover at a
friends...now let me explain. I have no problem with HOSTING them, but
when it involves going away, its a bit nerve racking, and we all know
that nighttime is an emet's worst fear! Anyway- It was just with my 2
closest friends, and you know what, I did it, and I had FUN! I even
slept good (apart from all the sleepwalking which is nothing new and
I'm not gonna get into that) It was from Thursday at 6 until Friday at
    5. Thursday we went to get movies (and also that was a triumph, as I
experience SO much anxiety in other peoples cars!) we watched
four..."Now and Then", "The Village", "Without a Paddle", and "The Girl
Next Door" ...it has a good moral to it. Anyways, that was good, we
went to bed around 3 lol, then had breakfast at 11. I had 6 sasuages, 2
bagels, some bacon, and a waffle. Not to mention orange juice that
expired March 5th...and it didn't even cause me anxiety! Then at around
2, we went to Quiznos sub for a late lunch, I normally get very nervous
around fast food places, but nope! We even played Fear Factor with
gross foods...i.e Jallipeno Pepper Covered in Chilli Sauce, Salsa,
Horse Radish, and the list goes on! There were even a few gags...but
little anxiety! I had even missed my anxiety pill (Prozac) the night
before! I am very proud, guys, and thought that I should share this
wonderful experience with you, maybe to give you a little hope that you
    can do it too!

    A very satisfied Laura

    Congratulations,
Laura! I know exactly how you feel, and you should be very
proud!! It is hard for me to sleep in unfamiliar places, eat out,
and be in cars! I have huge trouble with all of those
things! I'm so proud of you and glad you had fun!!</span><br style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(204, 0, 0);">

Thanks guys! I felt (and still feel) Very proud. I think, redapple,
that eating out, sleeping in strange places and going in others cars
are normal fears for an emet, as somehow through the network of our
minds you can register all those things with v*.
