Random story, proud of myself :)

So a few weeks ago, I was having really bad pain in my face.. the normal doctor diagnosed a sinus infection but when 2 weeks went by, the pain was worse and the antibiotics weren't working, we knew it was something else. One day I was at work and I was getting horrible pains shooting up the right side of my face, into my right ear, throbbing in my head.. it was terrible. I went to the ER that day and they think it may be a malfunction in my nervous system, so they sent me to get MRI's. My first one was last night, and I'm SO proud of myself! I was literally shaking as I went in, the doctor gave me a button and he said if I panicked I could press it and the MRI would be over (it was a half an hour long) you don't even know how many times I went to press it, fearing I was about to v*, but I surprisingly held back and stayed in the full half hour! I was so happy at the end of it, I seriously would have never been able to do that a few months ago. Just thought I'd share

that's awesome!! hope they find out the reason for your head pain.

tests like mri's really get my anxiety up because being confined and not allowed to move is sooooo hard for me....im such a fidgeter

if i ever have to have one i'll remember that you made it through without pushing the button and hopefully i will too
