Anyone here using NuvaRing for birth control?

Hi there! Hope you all had a FANTASTIC and worry-free Christmas. Or as much as possible, anyway.

I have a question for the women on here: Anyone tried or still using the birth control Nuva Ring? I was prescribed it last week and would really like to try it. I cannot get the non-hormonal birth control because my insurance does not cover it (The IUD/thing that gets implanted in the uterus for 5yrs.) -- so this was 'the next best thing.' Silly me went ahead and read the attached pamphlet that comes with the medication, and the first side effects listed are n* & v*. So, I did the NEXT worse thing I could do and GOOGLED it.. and of course, some women have been unfortunate in their negative side effects with it.

I know those side effects are listed on like EVERY medication just for liability reasons..and I know everyone is different.. I just wanted to see if any emetophobes have felt safe enough to use it.. that would be a bit more reassuring to me.

I was on the nuva ring for 5 years. I never once had any problems with N or V. I hope that helps!

You can google any birth control and you'll find there is a complaint for all of them. I've used 5 or 6 different birth control methods and Nuva was the best. I had no issues with it at all. I would like to go back on it but I have no insurance and cannot afford it. I think all birth control have n and v and a potential side effect. If one person had that side effect then it gets listed. It's not that common really, hope you end up liking it.

I used it and I did have nausea but no vomiting. I had to stop though because it made me crazy irritable.
