Well there's about 14 hours left of the year so hope i've not jinxed thins by voting already, but so far, no I didn't throw up in 2011 and that was through pregnancy, labour and caesarean surgery under general anaesthetic, so I'm happy

Not only did I throw up last year, I also threw up this year already

I threw up quite a few times in 2011, one of those times was because of noro.

I honestly expect to throw up at least once a year. The longest I went without throwing up was 7 years (ages 7-14) after that the longest was 3 years, and then I've thrown up about every year after that. So at least I'm not gonna get my hopes up by thinking "hey! I won't get sick!" Because reality is I could get sick, and it's not dangerous, and never will be. But then again my "vomiting past" does not determine my "vomiting future" So just take it one day at a time, no matter what year it is

You're being pessimistic, Jade. Most people throw up less as they become adults, especially emets. If you can get through 7 of the most puke-intense years without vomiting, I think you stand a good chance of going many years of your life without doing the liquid laugh.

No, for the 17th year in succession (phew).

That said, on every other front, 2011 was a terrible, awful year for me.

Came close in February to it, but nothing came up at least. Only had genuine n* about twice, and 'fake' n* at least 100 times!

Loved the 'not sure' option. I don't know if people can v* in their sleep during a bout of sleepwalking, but I've not heard of this, and I doubt an emet could manage it without having a sleep panic attack!

Yes and it caused my whole stomach illness. May 8th, 9:58am ,the morning after my 21st birthday I caught Noro and V* 3 separate times. First time hurt so bad, I forgot all about my fear and was afraid I was having a heart attack or asphyxiating from it. I don't drink so no, it wasn't a hangover haha

I think like that too I feel, okay, its a new year...I've "survived" a year without it happening...that was luck...lol

But so far so good...my hubby threw up three times in 2011 ugh makes me sad.

Yes i did twice in one day after 6 years of not being sick, i was terrified but i found that to be honest if your body wants to be sick there is no going back nno matter how many mints you suck! i pray it doesnt happen again though !
