EEK!

i am new to this site... and would really like advice on helping me
calm the heck down!! i am supposed to be starting a fantastic new job
soon... $38.00/hour... great for me.. i'm 21.. bad news...my friend dan
tells me 2 days ago that everyone at his work is sick..fever or a
cold..is all i got out of him..but now i'm worried and paranoid that
i'm going to get sick and mess up this job before i even start..or not
be able to go because i'm sick... i'm tired of putting my life on hold
but i can't control it...i have slept a total of 2 1/2 hours in these 2
days.. and ate maybe a peice of toast.. please help!!!!!

ok - firstly eat something - if u dont then ur poor body is going to never be able to fight any nasties that come ur way. even if its more toast - just eat something!

are u worried abt colds/flu - or about v*ing? chances are he may be over exagerating...? u know what mean are like with colds? [img]smileys/smilies_02.gif[/img] i say go - if u get a cold then at least everyone will know if they have all had colds! u cant mess it up!

thanks guys!! to answer your ? i'm worried about getting the flu
or fever or whatever and eventually v*ing... so pretty much just
anything that would involve v*ing.. i just really dont want to
miss an opportunity like this job b/c of my "stupid phobia"... i
have to be honest i wasn't really expecting a reply.. its nice to see
people so supportive of everyone... and saying that i'm
blessed... yea i am.. i have kind understanding people like you

u wont be sick from flu or a cold - im pretty sure - us emets are pretty damn resillient really!!

what kind of job pays you $38/hour at the age 20? i'm almost 40 and that's about what i make. sign me up!

my theory is the less work you do the more you get paid lol.. i was a
program assistant working in a mental ward.. for 8.10 an hour..hardest
job i had... now i am what they call an ''inspector'' haha.. i just
walk around and make sure everyone is doing their job..and doing it
right.. it's so easy.. and i get to talk to everyone.. and
i am probably one of the people who get paid the least... come on over
to PA and i'll hook you up!!!!
