    Default flu shot

I just read the the norovirus facts and I understand that if you just not touch your mouth with your hand and you have really good hygiene it is almost impossible to catch the sv* but then what does the flu shot do?

Also what are other ways to kill the virus? What about like clorox wipes? If I wipe down door knobs and such does that kill the virus??

The flu is a totally diffenert illness then norovirus (a stomach virus) there is no such thing as a stomach flu. So the flu shot MAY protect you against the flu (a respitory virus. And the only thing that kills Noro is a bleach and water mixture or Lysol spray aresol that's states on the back it kills Noro.

As far as i know, here in Canada anyway, clorox wipes do not kill noro. And the only hand sanitizer that does is X3.

Tho anywhere else, they could have other products.

Noro is usually referred to as the winter v*ing bug - most people with it will have d*, v* or both. It usually lasts around 24 hrs and is highly contagious which is why hygine is so important. The flu shot helps protect against influenza which is a respiratory illness. Symptoms similar to a common cold, but usually intensified, with aches, chills etc. Very few adults will v* with influenza. Influenza can vary with how long it lasts, most people i know who have had it has had it for a week.
The wipes you have will provably mean that it kills " influenza" viruses as " stomach flu" isnt actually flu at all.

1 part of bleach to 10 parts water, or surface sprays that contain benzalkonium chloride both kill it. Bleach is cheaper but can damge your clothes if it splashes, the surface sprays with Benz Chloride are more expensive but smell a bit nicer and are safe on clothing.

it's listed in the ingredients in some household surface sprays, ones in the UK with it in are Dettol sprays and Asda & Sainsburys antibacterial sprays. They are in trigger sprays not aerosols.

In the USA there is a lysol spray that kills noro. It usually says "Kills the Flu virus" on it. It kills the influenza virus, as well as noro. If you look on the back as to what it kills, it will be listed as "feline calicivirus."
