About 10 years ago, I had boiled crawfish for the first time. That night my stomach hurt so bad, I thought Iwas going todie. I never got sick - it just hurt. After trying crawfish 2 other times with the same reaction I no longer eat crawfish. Whenever I eat at Red Lobster - it's the same thing. Well, last night we went to Joe's Crab Shack and I tried Crab Legs for the first time. I was up all night with a stomach ache. Never sick or even felt like I would be sick - my stomach just hurt. Does anyone know what that is about?? Now, I'm afraid to eat any seafood.

i guess ur stomach just can't handle seafood .... a lot of people are the same... i won't even try anything lke that *just incase*.

it's best to just avoid it i suppose.... like those who are lactose intolerant avoid milk e.t.c. it's a lot easier than having to deal with stomach aches just from eating... not a pleasurable experience i'm sure.

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn\'t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn\'t know that so it goes on flying anyway.

Maybe your stomach can't handle seafood like jen suggested. I don't know the only seafood (fish)I will eat is salmon. All the other sea creatures gross me out!

chances are its just an allergie or intollerance. but if its making you feel yucky, it isnt worth eating when we do have so many foods available to us...

Sounds like your are allergic to the iodine in shellfish. Simple
solution - don't eat it. If you have to eat it (and I don't know
why you would), take a Benadryl either right before or right after you
eat and see if that helps.
