In school, my teacher was sick monday, saying that she felt bad in her stomach....she wasn't there tuesday and was apparently in the hospital. She was back yesterday, and she passed out papers and I keep thinking that she had something on them and gave it to me And today, the girl who sits next to me in biomed, said that she felt like she would v* and stuff and she was acting normal but she kept saying oooh I don't feel good. Then, today, the girl who sits next to me at lunch was saying the same thing that she felt like she would v*!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooo scared. Do you think I was exposed? I haven't been keeping up with my handwashing like I should and I am freaking out!!

I hope you are feeling ok it seems everyone is feeling a bit more anxious than usual today. I think you should be okay. It's not like you were with them when they got sick. If they even got sick at all.

I know how you feel...I've been dealing with this fear as long as I can remember. Last year my daughter was sick with V and everyone laughed that I wore a mask and carried bleach around with me. I did not get it nor did the rest of my family. Keep your immune system up and hydrate yourself. Kids spread these germs because they are sloppy and put there hands in there mouth. You will be fine just keep washing your hands.

OMG now I just went to school again today and there was a puddle of v* on the floor and I might've WALKED THROUGH IT! Idon't know if I did, but we went to the library and back apparently in one side of the door way in there was it and I may have stepped in it and I am freaking out I scrubbed my hands and sprayed myself with lysol when I got home omg what do you think is my chance now??? (btw the two girls were in school today that I spoke of earlier)

If I even see V I try not to breathe around it! I can imagine how you feel. I have a pocket size Lysol bottle I carry in my bag and use for these kinds of situations. I still think you will be in the clear lol. O had a student throw up on me in my dance class last week. It was the worst feeling of terror in the world for me. I couldn't even move I showered with scalding hot water drank about 6 gallons of orange juice and I didn't get it. Bit the week was torture. It consumed my mind my body every ounce of me worried for days. The only thing I will tell you is keep yourself healthy wash wash wash. Buy little pocket book Lysol can and hand sanitizers. I have a 9 yr old and 5 yr old and 5 month old. My husband always catches what they get! He shares drinks w them and forks! I do not and have escaped the V all the times they get it by washing hands. I am away in Virginia this weekend and sanitizing my hands every 10 seconds. Gymnastics meet with 100s of kids!!!
If you walked in it make sure your shoes are clean and again you will be fine. Of the girls who were sick around you. If they cough put your sleeve over your mouth to protect germs lol

This is OT: But I am a gymnast too! (Or was). I was 16 when I retired, and used to compete at the national level Are you a gymnast or is your daughter a gymnast?

My daughter is 9 competing USAG level 7 training in a pre elite program. It's ruff 30 hours a week! I teach at my dncing school mostly acro but I'm not a gymnast. Wish I was! So you know all about rips and tendinitis and arthritis I'm sure. My daughter tells mr her stomach hurts and I spin into was it the workout is it a virus or is it something she ate lol. The sport makes me crazy! Traveling all over the place every weekend we are somewhere else.

Okay so now it's been about 33 hours since then and I'm still okay....I'm still freaking out though

OT again: I was a gymnast too! I retired at 13...level 5 only lol.

We have different gymnastics levels in Canada, We have provincial level 1-4, national pre-novice, national junior and national senior. National senior is basically elite, pre-olympic level. I was provincial 3, which is comparable to US level 8 I think.
