50 year anniversary....

i was watching the news the other night and they were showing the story of the 50th anniversary of the first manned space flight and my mind just clicked......that was the exact day that my emet started.....we were watching the flight on tv in school....yes it was black and white tv and pretty fuzzy lol....and that's when jimmy jackson, the kid sitting behind me got s all over.......

50 years of emet....wow.....that's about 49 years too long. although i've had some pretty great years in that time span...years when it seemed to be almost gone.....but it still lingers in the back of my mind and sometimes moves to the front.....thankfully not as often as before.

anyways...no real reason for this post....i was just shocked when i heard 50 years on tv.......time certainly does fly....
