hiya! i know i haven't posted in a while but i've been lurking
around! the thing is i haven't had anything to post in a
while...since being at uni my emet has got so much better...i have v*ed
a few times (through alcohol, one time i was ill all night and i only
got a tad panicky) and i can go to clubs and not worry and stuff, i
could be a passanger in the car and not get panic attacks over long
distances and saw people vomit in films and was able to watch it and
not turn away...the only thing that bothers me was sitting in lecture
halls, worrying i might be ill, so i sat at the end of the aisle and i
was ok...

anyway that all changed last night for some reason at a club...all i
heard was this girl say 'move my friends gunna puke...' i totally
freaked...i tried to carry on as normal but i couldn't...my boyfriend
tried to take my mind of it and calm me down but everytime some hurried
past me or bumped into me i got so scared just feel so pathetic and upset that something so silly could set me back so far....in the end i had to go back to my flat

heya,

it sounds like you really had a hold of this emet and had it in control - which is fantastic.

don't let that one occassion get you down. we all will have our good/bad days. just remember the times when u were at that club and u were feeling fantastic. try not to associate that club/going out with bad times because that will only get u right back to square one again.

you are doing so well! u shud be very proud of urself

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn\'t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn\'t know that so it goes on flying anyway.

You are doing great. You must be so proud of yourself, I would be. Like Jen stated don't let the occasion get you down. Being in a bar doesn't bother me too much if someone is sick I just link it up to them being drunk and not the stomach flu. Keep going with your strength you are doing excellent!!

i think its amazing how far you got and i have to agree with everyone. thats was just one night and one occasion and any one of a number of things could have been to blame for it and all of those thigns are not you. you shouldnt let it get you down and you should focus on everything you have been able to do and how far you were able to get. keep the faith!

wish i hadnt let it affect me...oh well...i will let everyone know how
i get on next time i go out...i recon after this week the union club
willbe quieter and less crowded as people go out lots during the first
week back and getsmashed after their loans come thru so things might
get to the way they were again!
