My 4 year old got sick 8 days ago...she threw up a few times and then had a really high fever for 5 days. On the 6th day my hubby started feeling yucky. He had some abdominal cramps and then ran a low grade fever. The cramping stopped while the fever was going on. Then last night my Mother in Law got sick. She had come to help with the kids since the big one had been sick so long. She was nauseated and v* on our kitchen floor. Guess who cleaned it up? So now she's gone...I've bleached the heck out of my house and I'm terrified. My 5 month old had two runny poops since I picked her up. So I'm thinking she's got this thing too. Is there a chance at all that I will make it out of this. I started taking Zofran last night. Will that stop the v* from ever happening? I'm so freaked out. I can't take it anymore. This has been the longest week. I just want everyone well again!

A really high fever for 5 days does not sound like a stomach virus. A lot of children will vomit while running a high fever. As for your hubby and mother in law, if they got it already and you havent, I think you are probbly in the clear.
