UGH. My daughter's friend just had the worst sv I've ever heard of . . . v****ing constantly several times an hour for three days, finally hospitalized for 2 days and diagnosed with possible rotavirus. The timeline is as follows:


Illness onset: Wed. 4/20, continuing full force until 4/23, hospitalized 4/23-4/24 (Sun.).She has had diarreah the whole time (and still does) but no more v***ing since Sat. I just talked to her mom, who brought her to school today and plans to bring her to gymnastics tomorrow. My daughter is in this class too. Is it safe to bring her, or will the girl still be contagious? Not to mention my friend?


I told my friend she's probably still contagious and she shouldn't bring her out, but being a non-emet, her answer was, "But the poor baby is really booooored . . . she says she feels fine now . . . "
