Hi I'm new here, and I am posting because over 3 days ago, 84 hrs to be exact, I had to take my little one to the ER and there was a kid that came in there sick and gagging. We immediately left that ER and went to another because we had already been there 3 hrs, and I wasn't about to stay there with someone sick like that. I have been so afraid since that one of us is going to catch something of that nature. I have done a lot of research, and everything I have found says between 1-3 days, but sometimes within 12 hrs. I know I probably shouldn't still be worried, but I have had panic/anxiety attacks nearly everyday since then. No one in my family realizes that this is a real fear for me, and they make fun of me or yell at me for it all the time. So should I still be worried, or would something have more than likely showed up by now? I am being overtly obsessive and irrational about this I know, but the v* word just scares me that bad.
