    Thumbs down :l. Seafood.

    Hey
about.. 45 minutes ago, I ate a prawn salad (premade/in a pot ready to eat from my supermarket). I was half way through eating it when I noticed the prawns didn't taste like they normally do. And now I've gone into panic mode and researched all of the symptoms of seafood poisoning - I have a stomachache and I'm just pretty nervous about what might happen.
I can't really explain how the prawns tasted... Just over fishy I suppose? :s
Any help would be really appreciated cause I'm worried about this right now. How long do symptoms take to appear? Does the weird taste mean they weren't right? Has anyone ever had problems with these ready made pots before?
    Thanks,
    Claire xx

I've noticed that prawns that have been previously frozen sometimes have a stronger taste(fishy). This does not mean they are bad though. I wouldn't worry!

I've just noticed they always taste kind of rubbery and plastic-y when they come like that, not because they're spoiled, just because they are frozen and then sitting for a long time. Those premade things from supermarkets are really safe.
